Thanksgiving Dinner

I was one of the last holdouts for summer. As usual, it went by too quickly. I didn’t want to see it end. Now with cooler temperatures, the changing leaves, and pumpkin spice lattes in each hand I can no longer deny it. Fall is here, and I’ve finally embraced it.  After all, what’s not to love about this time of year? Between Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s there’s plenty of food, fun, and festivities to keep us busy until spring blooms again.

As Thanksgiving approaches, thing I love best about it besides getting together with family and friends or taking a moment to count my blessings, is it’s probably one of the few times of the year we have a license to overindulge.  When there’s so much pressure to “eat healthy” from the media, health professionals, and society in general and plenty of shaming to go around when we don’t, the holidays give us permission to indulge.

So relax, eat, and enjoy this holiday season. Here are some links below to help you get started. Don’t worry. We can work it off next year. ;-)

Happy Holidays,

Toni O.
